Our Story

Together Knowledge Resources Joins (TKRJ) was born as a response to suffering, displacement and untapped potential.

From Vision to Movement

Founded by Theophile Kizungu in 2019 at Dzaleka Refugee Camp, TKRJ began as a small initiative to bring together the “knowledge resources” of refugees and host communities – skills, talents, gifts and experiences – and join them for God’s glory and sustainable livelihoods.

“Our knowledge is our resources joined together. When we develop it, it becomes a source of income and impact.”

Love in Action

Guided by 1 Corinthians 16:14, TKRJ is more than a development organisation – it is a Christian family. We preach the Gospel while feeding the hungry, training youth, supporting people with disabilities, and walking alongside widows, single mothers and vulnerable children.

Founder & International CEO – Theophile Kizungu

Missionnary Theophile Kizungu

Theophile Kizungu founded TKRJ in Dzaleka Refugee Camp after experiencing the realities of war, displacement and poverty. Instead of surrendering to despair, he chose to channel God’s calling into a movement that equips people with both the Gospel and practical skills.

  • Spiritual call: To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and restore hope among refugees and vulnerable communities.
  • Leadership: International CEO of TKRJ, overseeing programs in Malawi, Uganda and Australia.
  • Professional journey: Studying IT & Cyber Security at Swinburne University of Technology to strengthen TKRJ’s digital future.

His life testifies that when knowledge, faith and community are joined together, we can truly rise, empower and develop.
